why do you love working at Puzzle Pieces and doing the work you do

What I love about working at Puzzle Pieces is the supportive environment created by the staff for both one another and the families we work with. Through the multidisciplinary team approach, I feel the children and their families truly get well-rounded services that are family centered. I really enjoy the child led play and movement throughout a session and am so happy to do this work at Puzzle Pieces.

explain what you do at Puzzle Pieces

I am a Mental Health Counselor at Puzzle Pieces working with both children and their families. Additionally, I have a specialization in Dance/Movement Therapy so truly enjoy when a child chooses to express themselves through creativity and the arts. I work in collaboration with children and their families on behavioral and emotional regulation, communication, problem solving, and coping skills. I provide individual therapy, group therapy, family consultation, and collaboration with collaterals.

what do you like doing outside of work

Outside of work, I spend my time with my family and friends. Although I also enjoy curling up on the couch to watch a movie, show or read a book! Any other free time I spend dancing and creating choreography.
