why do you love working at Puzzle Pieces and doing the work you do

What I most love about this work is I have come to know many amazing families who trust me to share in their vulnerabilities and their joyful interactions. I appreciate the dedicated parents and children who have taught me about honesty, persistence and courage. It is a privilege to witness their accomplishments. I am also grateful for my colleagues on Puzzle Pieces multidisciplinary team.

explain what you do at Puzzle Pieces

I provide DIRFloortime® therapy for individuals of all ages. I use a play-based approach, because play and affective relationships drive development. Through play children learn life skills, social skills, problem solving, communication and emotional regulation. I respect each person’s uniqueness, recognize their strengths and support family relationships. I share my passion for DIRFloortime® with parents and colleagues who are interested in learning the model.

what do you like doing outside of work

Outside of work I enjoy traveling, hiking, yoga, music, cooking, reading and learning.
