why do you love working at Puzzle Pieces and doing the work you do
I love working at Puzzle Pieces because we use a family-centered approach. Our team of clinicians is so knowledge and alway willing to provide collaboration. I learn something from the children I work with every day. I admire their endless energy, honesty, creativity, and resilience!
explain what you do at Puzzle Pieces
I work with children of all different ages to help increase their speech-language development and feeding skills using a child-led and play-based approach while collaborating with their families/caregivers.
what do you like doing outside of work
When I’m not working I love hanging out with my family, friends, and my two dogs on Cape Cod.
what education or certifications do you have
- Bachelor’s of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders with a minor in Rehabilitation and Disability Studies from Springfield College
- Master’s of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Emerson College
- Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of Massachusetts Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
